AI4OPT participated in Scholars Weekend at Georgia Tech, where Kevin Dalmeijer, Managing Director of AI4OPT, led students on a tour through the facility. The tour showcased the organization's focus on integrating AI and Mathematical Optimization (MO) to tackle societal challenges in energy, supply chains, sustainability, and chip design and manufacturing. Also its educational initiatives targeting historically black high schools and colleges in Georgia, as well as Hispanic-serving high schools and colleges in California.

AI4OPT welcomed the scholars who have a wide range of interests in various programs and opportunities. These included the Global Internship Program, exploring public policy and data science, participating in the Denning Technology and Management Program, studying abroad, minoring in Technology and Business, delving into finance/consulting organizations, joining the London School of Economics Exchange Program, and engaging in entrepreneurship organizations at Georgia Tech.
