Students from all across campus gathered to participate in the AI4OPT Student Social Aug. 23, 2022. The two-hour event allowed students interested in computing and machine learning to network and learn about the Research Institute and all of those involved.

The free event, held on the 9th floor of the Coda at Tech Square, featured pizza and a presentation from AI4OPT Director and Principal Investigator, Pascal Van Hentenryck.

Organizers hope the more than 60 students in attendance gained insight and knowledge about the Institute’s work in developing novel research and educational programs using AI and mathematical optimization.
