At AI4OPT, we understand that sustained growth and success rely on the backing of philanthropic industrial partners alongside funding from the NSF. We take pride in collaborating with renowned partners like Best Buy, Google, ISO New England, Intel, Keysight, Kinaxis, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Ryder, Sandia National Laboratories, Southern Company, and UPS. By fostering a dynamic community of faculty, alumni, students, and industry partners, we offer impactful services, events, projects, industry consortiums, and data collection. All of which are aimed at pioneering revolutionary research and educational programs in AI and mathematical optimization.

According to Dr. Anne Robinson, the Chief Supply Chain Officer at Kinaxis, "Kinaxis delivers unparalleled supply chain agility and resiliency to supply chains across the globe. We are fiercely passionate about supply chain innovation and impact. AI and optimization are critical to our go-forward strategy as a company. We are especially excited to have AI4OPT postdoctoral fellow Vahid Eghbal Akhalaghi and PhD student Wenbo Chen working alongside our product management team to apply advanced AI techniques to accelerate the speed of making informed supply chain decisions at massive scale."

As Pascal Van Hentenryckis, the director of AI4OPT and the A. Russell Chandler III Chair and Professor, notes, "Supply chains are growing increasingly larger, and they are expected to be more resilient and sustainable than ever before. As a leader in the field, Kinaxis is ideally positioned to understand these fundamental challenges through their Rapid Response technology. Kinaxis, in collaboration with AI4OPT, is exploring how the fusion of machine learning and optimization may bring a step change in capabilities for the next generation of supply chain management systems."

Our Industrial Partners Program is geared towards supporting the development and progress of AI4OPT while promoting collaboration and partnerships with our supporters. Our industrial partners can select from four tracks based on AI4OPT's end-use cases: energy systemshardware design and controllogistics and supply chains, and resilience and sustainability, and select the level of support that best aligns with their goals.
