The 2023 INFORMS Annual Meeting will take place at the Phoenix Convention Center from October 15-18, 2023, providing a unique opportunity to connect with the INFORMS community and engage with experts in the field, with the theme of harnessing the data revolution, focusing on the role of Operations Research and Management Science (OR/MS) in addressing the challenges and opportunities presented by the increasing volume and complexity of data.

The meeting will bring together researchers, practitioners, and industry leaders to explore innovative methods for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. The event encourages participants to embrace the theme and consider the future of OR/MS in the context of data privacy, security, and ethics. The meeting will also emphasize visualizing and communicating data insights.

Pascal Van Hentenryck is scheduled to deliver talks during Plenaries and Keynotes sessions. He holds the A. Russell Chandler III Chair and is a Professor in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also serves as the director of the NSF AI Institute for Advances in Optimization (AI4OPT). His research focuses on machine learning, optimization, and privacy with applications in energy, manufacturing, mobility, and supply chains. Van Hentenryck is an INFORMS Fellow and a Fellow of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI).
