Samir Amiouny (Smurfit WestRock | Technology Fellow )
Samir’s expertise is in the conception, design, development, and deployment of custom data-driven decision support solutions. He has led such projects in various industries, including manufacturing, transportation, oil & gas, retail, leisure & hospitality, and utilities. He began his career as an assistant professor at Concordia University in Montreal before spending most of his more than 20-year career as a consultant, first with ILOG then with IBM. Samir holds an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and a Ph.D. in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Chantal Bisson-Krol (Kinaxis)
With over 30 years of industry experience in high tech enterprise product R&D, Chantal is the Vice President of AI/ML Solutions at Kinaxis. She is that forefront of driving cutting-edge advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning in Supply Chain Management. She holds a suite of patents in this field and leads a team of creative innovators, researchers and platform developers who bring the power of this technology to the Kinaxis business user.
Avi Guha (Southwire)
With over 25 years of Digital Transformation experience, Avi Guha is a passionate, pragmatic, hands-on, results-driven leader. In his role, he helps global manufacturing businesses transform and go digital, at scale.
Guha is experienced in driving tangible business value, accelerating growth, and enabling simple IT solutions to complex business problems, while achieving savings. He has a panache for unleashing the human potential and unlocking enterprise-wide value outcomes. Guha is a student of applied AI in manufacturing, supply chain and customer experience areas.
Somdeb Majumdar (Intel Labs)
Dr. Somdeb Majumdar is the Director of AI Lab – a research organization within Intel Labs. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles and spent several years developing ultra-low-power communication systems, wearable medical devices and deep learning systems. He has published at top-tier journals and conferences and holds 27 US patents. At Intel Labs, he leads a multi-disciplinary team developing foundational AI algorithms, scalable open-source software tools and disruptive applications in Computer Vision, Chip Design, Graph Learning, Scientific Computing and other emerging areas.
Geraldo Rochocz (Chief Technology Officer | Radix)
As a founding partner of Radix, with over 35 years of professional experience, Geraldo oversees the development and execution of technology solutions and innovation. As a technology industry expert, Geraldo is part of the Executive Board of iUp (Energy Innovation Hub of Brazilian Petroleum and Gas Institute), was a former Executive Board member of CTDUT (Pipeline Technology Center), where he held the presidency of the Business Council and was a Board of Director of ANPEI (National Association for Research and Development of Innovative Companies). Geraldo holds a Chemical Engineering Degree from the Military Institute of Engineering (IME-RJ) and Master's Degree from COPPE-UFRJ in the fields of Thermodynamics and Numerical Methods in Process Simulation.
Venkat Tirupati (ERCOT)
Venkat Tirupati is the Vice President of DevOps and Grid Transformation at Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT). In his role, he serves the business groups to develop and support the technology needed to meet their mission. He also oversees the technology innovation and is responsible for collaboration with external stakeholders such as vendors, academia, R & D groups, and industry consortiums. He previously worked for Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA), North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and Siemens Power Transmission and Distribution in various roles. Mr. Tirupati has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas.
Stephen Tomlinsonis (Chief Information Officer at VT Industries)
Stephen Tomlinsonis currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at VT Industries since 2017. Stephen has led the digital transformation of the company, developing IT strategic plans and implementing key systems across multiple divisions and locations. Prior to this, Stephen held significant roles at AGCO Corp, Gates Rubber Company, Johns Manville, and Boeing. Stephen has extensive experience building world class teams, transforming business while implementing key business systems, and leading the development of custom solutions to help business exceed business goals.
