The graduate education initiatives focus on exposing graduate students to a wealth of career opportunities. It leverages its collaborations with numerous national laboratories and industrial partners, to establish extensive internship programs.

The AI4OPT Student Leadership Council provides an opportunity for students to become involved in the Institutes leadership and decision-making. Our students have been able to give feedback and share ideas on how we can improve the organization's mission, resources, and initiatives. By involving our students in these processes, AI4OPT is building out the goal to achieve a more inclusive and diverse community.

 

Graduate Research Location

Like most of AI4OPT research, our graduates are work on the 12th floor of the Coda building, located in Tech Square in Midtown Atlanta in 2022. The Coda facility is a hub of innovation and provides a mix of modern workspaces, state-of-the-art research labs, communal areas, industry event space, and several unique retail concepts and restaurants. We made the move to the Coda building in 2022 to push our dynamic environment and promote our collaborations, creativity, and innovative research in the fields of artificial intelligence, optimization, and operations research.

Graduate Students Participate in AI4OPT Seminar Series

The AI4OPT Seminar Series is open to the public, which include graduate students who are offered the opportunity to learn from experts in the field of AI and optimization. Students are able to engage in meaningful discussions around the latest research and innovations and have access to not only real-world applications of the field but expert opinion. The hybrid and weekly 1-hour series provides a weekly dose of interactive knowledge so that students can develop their skills in the field of AI and optimization.
