Kevin Dalmeijer, managing director of AI4OPT, represented the institute at the White House conference "AI Aspirations" in Washington, D.C., on June 13. The event brought together leaders from government, Congress, nonprofits, and industry to share their visions for harnessing artificial intelligence to support a better future and improve lives. The conference was part of the Biden-Harris administration’s ongoing efforts to ensure the safe, secure, and trustworthy development and use of AI.

Dalmeijer presented several demonstrations showcasing AI4OPT’s work in building more resilient and sustainable supply chains. The demos gained the attention of attendees, including AI4OPT’s initiatives and its close collaborations with industry partners.

Dalmeijer also highlighted AI4OPT’s achievements to Arati Prabhakar, science advisor to the president and director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
